Presenting & Publications

Publications:

Sharing my ideas and work, through blogging and social media, has served as a means to reflect and to connect. My writing makes me a better leader and educator by pushing me to purposely and carefully look back at my work in order to process and grow. My writing has also allowed me to become a better global teacher, by sharing my ideas and interacting with teachers from all around the world.

Here are links to my blog, other publications, and social media spotlights.

MrMikekaufman, the blog

In 2017 I began writing and publishing my own blog, where I wrote about best practices, tech tips, and my own experience as an educator.

YouTube

Here is a link to my YouTube page, which is an educational channel that has almost 1,600 subscribers and 1 million views. This channel hosts videos for both students and teachers, and covers tech tips, informative content videos, and reading and writing tutorials.

HighFiveHistory

HighFiveHistory is a blog I co-created with my colleague and friend, Jason Deehan, in order to share best practices and edtech tips for teaching. I was an active writer on the blog from 2016-2017.

Twitter

@MrMikeKauf – Since the Spring of 2016 I have worked hard to build my Personal Learning Network using Twitter. It has been an effective way to stay connected and up-to-date with what’s going on in education. If you browse through my profile you will get a clear sense of my ideas and beliefs, as well as a look into my classroom.
